Coffee Shop recommendations for the website ;-)

Ladies and gents - please could you list out some familiar, friendly - maybe not so friendly too ;-) coffee shops.
I am going to build a little database up on the website - /MEMBERS/COFFEE STOPS

  • River Terrace Cafe - St Ives, Cambs - Beautiful location by the river, outdoor courtyard, good selection of cake! Great summer stop for the bus way flyer ride.

    Sent again MC....and yes matt it included st ives.....and 27others.....all real... no virtual ;-)
  • Don't need to stop on zwift,.. I enjoyed my double espresso on the move this morning!!
  • Hot Numbers - Shepreth - New place thats opened up and I really rate.

    One to miss at the moment is Bicicleta in Saffron Walden. If anyone has a good experience there please let me know but was dire yesterday
  • Of course the local Rhubarb & Mustard must be first on the list.

    Toms Cakes in St Ives. - Brilliant cakes and sausage rolls.

    The Hub in Redbourn - - good all round cycling café.

    Westmill Tea Rooms -WestMill. - great cake

    The Forest Centre & Millennium Country Park - Marston Moretaine -

    Further away... Water Mill Tea Rooms in Ringstead. -

    Dobbies Garden Centre at Melbourn - Cambridge CCs favourite stop.
    The Hub on Melbourn High Street
    The TeaCake at Meldreth

    Woodview Farm Shop and Cafe at Gamlingay - excellent cakes

    Cafe Riverside at Ickleton near the M11/A11 junction

    The Buntingford Coffee Shop plus Delissimo is well recommended but I haven't been there.
    Something Lovely Tea Rooms at Puckeridge
    Sunflower Tea Room Hare Street (was the March Hare but under new ownership)

    Wimpole Hall Cafe

    Cafe Plus, Baldock plus there are 2 others nearby but this is the one we tend to use

    Mocha at Saffron Walden I think is better than Bicicletta

    Copleys Cafe at the Henry Moore Foundation near Much Hadham

    The Orchard Tea Garden Grantchester (can be accessed via the A10 cycle path and Trumpington Meadows)

  • The cyclist’s cafe at Roxton that closed down recently has Re-opened under new management & I think is called ‘The Little Acorn Cafe’. It’s an excellent stop & well worth our support.
