Big steady ride - this Friday, 5th August
Me and a friend are doing a big steady ride this Friday. He's in Saffron Walden. The precise route is TBC but basics are: Blue Egg for coffee, Lavenham village for lunch, up towards Newmarket and then around back to Saffron. It's probably an 80-or-so miler.
I will decide if I ride to Saffron, or drive over if it's too much, tomorrow when I know the route.
If you can get Friday off - I hope you can join.

Friday morning start time TBC, but if anyone fancies a Saffron Walden 100-miler (plus extras if riding over to Saffron), let me know.

I’m setting off from Guilden Morden village hall 6.50am to ride out to meet my friend at Arkesden on the route above approx 8.15am. Will stop off a kooky nomad for coffee in Royston around 7.30am.
Blue egg for more coffee, approx 10am
Lavenham for lunch, approx 1pm
Arrival at saffron approx 5.30pm for a beer in my friend’s garden.
FYI I’m not riding back from saffron, so 108 miles in total. Getting dinner and a lift home. It will be about 125 if you ride back to Guilden.
