Commisaires training course
Folks,
Does anyone out there feel the need to be a commissaire? (road racing referee) The ERRL, of which our primavera event is one of will be requiring that all member clubs have a registered commissaire. Those that dont could be expelled from the ERRL which would mean no CCA riders would get into these events.
With this in mind i have been sent the following....
Dear All,
I am writing to you as I have been told on the jungle drums that:
A) you may have club members interested in attending a road commissaires training course and/or
that as a club you may not have an existing commissaire in you ranks and may therefore struggle to meet the requirements of the ERRL
If these apply, the good news is that road commissaires training course has been booked for Saturday 18th February 2012, to be held at West Suffolk Wheelers HQ in Bury St Edmunds.
If you have club members interested in attending, please ask them to get in touch with me with the following info:
Name, address, BC membership number (if held); e mail, phone number, club.
At this stage, an expression of interest is not a binding commitment to attend.
Kind regards,

What exactly would this involve? I would be happy to get involved with this but don't want to commit if it's lots and lots if days away.
Thanks
