edited January 2012 in General
Should I Tweet or use the Forum?

3 tuns 9:30 for 50-60 (15 mph ave) easy pace ride if anyone would like to join me. Will head out towards Preston. Need to practice hill climbs!

It wasn't meant to be taken seriously it was intended to be a light hearted comment regarding an earlier post.

Although Skelders has raised a valid point.
  • Tweet tweet ;-)
  • Hiya

The current view is to not have an official club twitter - so as to focus info on one location - this forum.

    Same for Facebook.

I've never seen either work successfully for any cycling club - except for those without a club forum already.

Heightened issues on confidentiality and security too.

However.... Twitter is great for events and such like - LEJOG, Etapes etc.

This view might change as habits and technology changes. But for now: the forum works just fine, we think...

    ta!
  • Well that's fair enough.

Perhaps we'll stick with David Camerons comments from the election - too many Tweets make a Twat -

    Haha

    Still good fun though ;-)
  • Anyway, anyone for a ride on friday.....
