Unbelievable atmosphere in the velodrome today - sadly even the presence of a CCA shirt couldn't spur Vicky on to gold!!

    An astonishing week with so many amazing moments, but my favourite was Trottys omnium. fascinating!

    cant wait to catch up and hear what it was like being there.

    Jane - could not agree more, her riding is great to watch.

    Tim - we were 9 rows from the front in the middle of the back straight. Team GB pen was right in front of us - amazing how hard the coaches and mechanics work, makes you realise how much of a team effort it really is.

    I have another shot for you - Laura Trott being congratulated by her family right in front of us - and in the background Chris Hoy warming up on the rollers, oblivious to it all!

    PS the big arm holding up a phone on the left hand side of the photo belongs to rower Greg Searle who was right next to us!!
