Rupert - Good to meet you yesterday. There's a selection of mapped rides here http://www.ccashwell.com/rides.html

It doesn't include the 5-hill version of the Royston Hilly, but I can email you a file from my Garmin if that'd be useful? Or just drop me an email when you're planning to do it and I might be able to ride it with you. (Click on my name to get email address)
  • 17 knots? No wonder I didn't catch the Black Pig - or perhaps it was the rum. My thanks to Master & First mate for the opportunity to practice my puncture repair skills and Able Seaman John for loan of a spare innertube.
  • Jane/Rupert

Here is the Royston hilly route - enjoy !

  • Jane - thanks. I will have a look at the routes. After we'd got back to Ashwell I did the ride again, or at least the bad road bits, and sure enough on the same gritty wet lane there were two cyclists mending punctures, so it seems that our group was definitely not alone! Thanks for a good day and look forward to seeing you all next time. Rupert
  • Thanks all for being welcoming on my first ride with you. Hope to see you all again next Sunday, without the punctures.
  • Jane/David when are we going to do that hilly one again? :) - on a saturday perhaps?!?
