ahoy me hearites
crew had a sniff of treasure last week
luckily I had the map and took the glory

lots of pies , no sailing this week
must be up for grabs !

09.30 , 40 miles, finish line to be pointed out :-)

    Alas, still in dry dock following the physic's orders.
    Another week undergoing repairs to splintered timbers after capsizing on the treacherous Camden sea
    Losing all form at the season s end, much twiddling of thumbs
    Watching others sail around the Spanish Main proving scant compensation for an eager pirate
    The Kraken wife beginning to grate, shackling me in irons for endless spud peeling chores, deck scrubbing & suchlike
    Need the whiff of the salty sea and the prospect of treasure to restore my soul and mind

    according to the crew we did the same route as the Sat lot
    Buntingford , Westmill , Walkern
    36 miles , about 17 mph rollling hills
    lovely in the sun

    last few weeks before winter bikes and speeds
    see you next week

    Despite holes below water line managed 13 miles with junior Barnabas.
    Escaped the Kraken's press gang for chores and went for a North Herts circuit
    Junior Barnabas stole the treasure from under my nose
    Safely back in port with no further damage
    Mind and soul restored
    Now for the grog
