Garmin Edge 800 problem - can you help?
My Edge800 turned itself off while I was enjoying an espresso in Danish Camp today.
Trouble is, it won't turn back on again. I've connected it to my PC as I usually do, to recharge it ... and it's still not showing any sign of life whatsoever, nor has my PC recognised it.
It's about 18 months old, which I'm pretty sure means the warranty has expired (I'll check). I haven't dropped it or crashed it and it was about 90% charged when I left the house this morning, so it shouldn't have got anywhere near to the battery running flat today (- and when it has got low in the past, it's given me a warning message and then I've ridden on for several hours without it shutting down due to lack of juice).
Any ideas on how to fix it? Might have to call 'Customer Support, which won't be open until Monday

Welcome to my world!!!
Try a "Boot Block" details are on the support page of the garmin site you may loose some info on the device though.
Follow the icons from "into sports" down to edge 800 problems click on the drop down box and select battery problems and there is a procedure to follow there
Good luck cos if it don't work it's £70.00 for a replacement device
