Commuting in to London - Tues 2nd March, 6am
I'll try and commute every week now til the Cheshire Cat.
Will pass Ashwell Post Office 6am. Arriving central London just after 8.30am. Let me know if you want to join. Wrap up!
Any Baldockers - I can see you @ 6.30ish at the A507/Cumberlow Green.
Not cycling back that day. Might be Weds, Thurs or not at all this week. Will see how workload/weather works out....

I don't mind taking the front - extra training! Besides, the wind is from the north right now.
Skelders - let me know either way - by text if late on. We'd meet up at that farm, 6.30am. A good way to earn guilt-free lager vouchers for the evening...
I can't make Tues eve pub btw.
Wot, no Robbie?????

Oof! TimG - I feel like I've done your boxercise class down my left-side of my body.
Skelders - thanks again for the sacrificial verge dive. Hope your headache has passed.
1) Don't go on early morning commuter rides when the weather is forecast good BUT is still clearly winter - unless you're wearing lots of padding
2) Don't embark on said ride, when you are only 11 days from your 'cycle tour' of South Africa or indeed any other exciting trips!
3) Do keep your distance from fellow riders as when one goes, we all go! fortunately TimG is a good cushion - thanks Tim :-)
4) Do also avoid fellow cyclist heads if they are laying in front of you and aim for the verge.... just try to avoid sharp, sticky outy hurty things on the verge ... ouch !
5) And finally - Do avoid big brown school busses coming in the opposite direction when you are sliding on your side, down a hill, on ice, towards said bus' wheels!! well done Martin - definitely a new sport for the next Winter Olympics!!
So on the whole a good mornings work :-)
