    Did the lots of lefts route, seems to work out ok
    42 miles at 17mph
    Good mix of riders, nearly all hairy

    Great fun and company today, thanks everyone and to the Cap'n for organising the ride and coffee afterwards.

    I especially liked the way we circumvented most of the really hilly bits for the entire route, especially near Barkway!

    Once again, good to see a few frisky punters for the sprint finish, honours to James and Pete2 relegated to Pete3 this week, keeping up the fine tradition of gallant loser...better luck next time!

    Great route and as FD notes above a superb demonstration of hill circumnavigation! It was almost like James knew where he was going ......

    Really liked the twisty road from the Woodman pub , would do it again if I had any idea where it was :)

    Good ride and almost biblical parting of the hills for flat progress as the captain lead from the back with a broken compass.

    I agree Woodman twisty bit was great

    Man overboard!!!! Did Nick turn up safe?

    Some great work on the front by John and Robbie? on the way home making a very comfortable windbreak for Adam and I but medal in the sprint yet
