Eastern Counties CA 100 result: Close but no cigar 4-01-04

Good conditions for the ECCA 100 today. Lasted until 90 miles this time (legs went at 70 miles in the Hounslow 100 last month) so progress of sorts. The last 10 miles from Sawston back to Saffron Walden were pretty ragged. Shame as I as on a 25mph ride until then. Did a 4-01-04 - only been faster than that once before - in 1995. Hopefully next time I'll race the full 100. Thanks to the Cardinal W for the shout at the 50 mile turn, that was great. Didn't expect to see you out there.
