Great riding from all today in quite tough conditions.
Awesome from powerhouse Ant especially considering he raced to 5th (I believe) in a Cat 2? race yesterday!
Thanks to all timekeepers, marshals and helpers and Mrs D for catering.

Thanks to everyone (timekeepers, Marshall's, pusher offer, refreshments) who helped out today and made the event possible. Some good times out there.

I was kind of enjoying it until the massive wind storm and then the heavens opened making it very tricky to see let alone ride a bike. Those of us caught in it arrived back very soggy and wringing our clothes out :-(

On the positive I was almost 10 mins quicker than last time I did this interclub and managed to get under 70 mins which Im chuffed with. When I got home I also noticed a hole in my tyre and the inner tube bulging through so also glad that it didn't explode in the rain!

    Roll on next year.........
  • Thanks all, really enjoyed all of the bits about my first 25 that weren't the cycling bit (and I even enjoyed that a little bit when it stopped battering it down).

Bryn, great pushing and good to "meet the man with the hammer" (it gets funnier the more I say it).

Tim, so sorry for getting you in the face with my visor. But glad that my aim is still pretty good. Thanks for catching it with your eye and not letting it get scratched on that nasty grass.

Good to see lots of shiny new skinsuits!
  • Well done and thanks to all..special congratulations to Anthony our new 25 club champion...great ride!
  • Thanks to everyone for making the event possible, timekeepers, marshals and helpers. And thanks to Tom for not being fit and Justin for deciding to ride a 25 somewhere else ;-)
  • Thanks to everyone who helped today, great pushing, great timekeeping, great results service and great tea (sorry about the cup!)
Thanks also to everyone for being so encouraging. It was a really good event.
  • Congrats to all who rode the 25 today - some great times today even with the challenging conditions.

The CCA hammer seemed to be a highlight of the TT, got a comment from pretty much all of the riders. Thanks to MC (hammer) for the worst pun of the day ........

Fantastic job by Bryn to push off all 60+ riders !!
  • Many thanks to all for putting on this smooth, well oiled event. My last TT as I now slip over the edge and into retirement realising that perhaps leisure riding will be more my scene, as TT certainly isn't - its been emotional but I am now looking forward to some more sensible, leisurely riding. Thanks again to all who organised and ran this event, great thundery shower as well - how did you organise that, someone must have connections in higher places
  • Thanks to all who made a great day run smoothly, time keepers, marshals, pushers, tea & cake makers. If it wasn't for you guys, it wouldn't happen - Tim & Mrs D, Bryn, David, Phil etc... THANK YOU :-)

Glad I missed that rain !
