Re shirts - I have been trying on my older Bioracer club kit and can wear a snugly fitted 4 top; one might - at a stretch - describe it as a racing fit. How does this size compare to the newer tops. Did I try on a medium in the pub, Skelders?
Also can I get first dibs on non-snoring roommates if we are sharing.
Jeremy, 4 is approximaately a medium. I can't rememeber what you tried on to be honest. I would say a medium would be right, if indeed you like the 'race' fit.
Last year we had luxurious rooms to ourselves :-) gets my vote again!
2 Wife says I can take car - which will carry four bikes on the roof, 4 adults inside (and a couple more strapped to the bonnet, dead moose-style, if neccessary.)
Robbie, just checked your last order & all your stuff was a large... however, I am a medium (ok, ok its a snug fit at the mo'!!) so I would say that would be a better fit for you. medium that is ....
trailer sounds a good option.......I know we need to book etc. and it's best to know as soon as poss......but there is time for people to decide surely........besides there's the day in June to get organised first. Will start a new thread for that one.....why did I volunteer for that?.was it down the pub?
clearly as geoff says still plenty of time to organise,
but for the record, i offered to help richard with booking the accomodation.
last year we all had our own rooms. sure that will be possible again,
but if anyone does want to share to bring costs down hope to arrange that too. some of the rooms last year were big with twin beds, so should be possible.
will be in touch later to sort it out.
great to see such a strong response,... sprint could be a bit tasty this year...
Medium pro shirt for me
( you go faster in the bunch sprint apparently )
Mr Bartlett says can not make this year
Jeremy and John Riddett offered cars with 4
( John has a bottom frame roof attachment )
I can take 4 people and bikes
Richard can take 5 people and bikes
( best to avoid trailer if possible )
once have nos can agree tunnel times and book
need your non refundable £50 deposits please
payable to James Boyle
( I will cash them later , but need them ASAP , before we book anything)
good to get full cars, keeps costs down
so 13 works , next 16 or 17 really
Can have a 2009 shirt day
and a 2010 day
turn those heads , CCA are coming
I will be placing the shirt order next week. so any more takers for the trip need to let James know soon otherwise you'll miss out on your super cool 2010 tour shirt :-)
Ops, looks like i nearly missed it so put my name down please for the trip and a M shirt. what's the difference between regular and pro shirts please ?

James..I think Richards friend Martin from beds road will be coming.....makes 18 so need to start another car possibly.....how big can we get and manage the logistics???
Sorry chaps am going to pass on this event due to Mrs D suggesting a family holiday in Majorca for September. (Havent told her my bike is going yet but she didnt complain the last time so it will be alright)
The pave will have to wait a little longer but i wish you all the best with this new CCA "monument"
Chaps
If it is not too late I would like to join you. Sorry I hadn't replied sooner.
Skelders, pro top in whatever size I've got - small I think?
Chris
already there Richard..I preempted you after Sunday's chat...so looks like 2 places still available.....good news about Martin....will he be doing a re-run of the wet road cornering trick again??
Stef. Am aware you're coordinating accommodation. A bit awkward with 18 or so eh - so wondered if this might help; I've set up a Doodle that all of us can note preferences of; solo room, sharing or not bothered. Am not sure the hotel will have 18 rooms free.
It might save a lot of forum bashing too.

Your call - just wondered if a good, quicker, simpler idea to centralize. We could have done the same with the jerseys I suppose. Doodle is good and v quick for these kind of mass-decision things.
Finally. Skelders - can you recall which night was the more camp disco night in Skelders Bar? My memory a bit hazy. Funny that. Am thinking there should be a XXS skin suit available for the brave on the dancefloor. Get Endura to put glitter on it or something.

We might be engaging the 12 bike CCA trailer. Richard's car is able to pull it. That'll take pressure off the rest of the convoy.
Anyone else in? Ideally rather not have 13...
