Velodrome 2nd August CONFIRM your place

edited July 2014 in General
Hi, the following have signed up on the Doodle to ride at the Olympic Velodrome 2nd August - if I've missed anyone just shout.
Please confirm here that you are still coming so we can get final numbers, work out costs etc.
If you confirm now you are committing to pay for a place even if you later change your mind (unless you can find someone else to take your place).

If you cant make it please say now, or we'll assume you are coming and are prepared to pay. Thanks.

Cost at this stage looks like about the same as last time £24 per rider - that's to cover the cost of the track session and coaches.
may even be a few quid less depending on final numbers.

also please fill in the separate doodle on equipment hire. thanks.

  • I'm in Stef. Thanks
  • Sophie L is in. There is supposed to be racing in the afternoon for the kids training in the cluster sessions - there may be the opportunity for people to help with the racing in the afternoon if they are willing. This will be their first racing indoors!
  • Confirmed... thanks Stef.
  • I'll be there :)
On another thread someone suggested riding down some of the way there.
I am up for that as well, but can't remember who suggested it and can't find the thread now....lol
So I will mention it here
    Adam
  • 'Twas I Adam! Riding to Ware and training to Tottenham Hale before rolling down to the Velopark. I can start another thread for this.
  • Thanks Matt
Old age must be setting in I could not remember
Can you let us know the logistics before the 2nd. Does sound like a good idea to me.
    Adam
  • Confirmed. Thanks Stef
  • It'll just be Finn and Olly this time on the velodrome. Lucia and I thought we'd have a go on the road track. If anyone else would like to join us, we could make a morning of it too. Let me know and I'll check the arrangements although I think you can just turn up.

Edited: to say that I just noticed that the doodle is only for those who need equipment.
  • Sorry Stef - looks like I'll be travelling again that weekend so won't be able to make it. Gutted.

There's still a couple of places available if anyone else wants to come along. Post here.

  • Hi, cost will be the same as the May trip. £24 per rider for the session, plus if you are hiring a bike £10, and shoes £6.

Please either pay into club account or bring cash/cheque on Saturday payable to CC Ashwell.
To pay into bank account: Cycle Club Ashwell, sort code 20-41-12, acct no 20382167 - please put reference VELO and your surname.

The session starts at 9.00 a.m. but aim to get there around 8:30 to give yourself time to park, change etc. There was plenty of parking last time in front of the velodrome.
Details of how to get there are on their website Lea Valley
    Session finishes 12:00 noon.

We can fit a couple more in if anyone wants to join last minute.
