    Thanks for the heads up on this Jane, it was a great day out for the whole family. There was BC circuit racing for all categories, Go-ride races and some fun races too. Hopefully this will become a regular event.

    This was a really good event - a few teething problems but easily sorted going forward.
    Youth & Women's races could have done with a few more riders
    The men's race(almost at capacity) was fast & furious - Dan got 4th

    Never seen an Elimination race run on the road - so that was interesting.
    The Go Races - were enjoyed by a host of youngsters & oldsters - hard work for the BC team from Central - but they seemed really pleased with the interest - given that the event couldn't be advertised until the a week or so ago

    Jez Cox - was saying the aim is to run 5 to 6 similar events through Hertfordshire over the next year - & yes Richard is already in touch with both Jez & Simon about using their insight/ experience to ge the Ashwell version off the ground.

    Brilliant! Good to hear of Dan's success and that the good folk of Redbourn have hosted another great day out for cyclists

    With the amount of passion and brain-power I've seen in our club, I've no doubt there will be an Ashwell fete du velo one day soon. And that'll be even more brilliant
