A rare day without kids tomorrow so will give the ride a miss. Sorry but have a good one. Hope I can find Martin for a 6 am ride before the day kicks off.
Enjoyed that in a Rapha-does-winter-riding sort of way. Bike's in a bit of state though!
I planned for 80 miles .... and got home a bit late with 94 miles on the clock and empty legs. (And more than once I wished that my winter bike weighed no more than my Scott)
Where should I have turned off to make it 80miles? Somewhere near Clavering? (Can confirm that Buntingford to Steeple is 11 miles. B-Ashwell is probably the same)
Eleven out... Hardest bit was starting up a tad wet after the coffe stop at Bourn. But good after that all the way round the GD.... we just kept on going. Ended up 104m at a steady ave just over 17mph. Ass a tad sore being on the fixed tho! Baboon comes to mind.
Thanks for the ride today.....debut on the 8am ride. Eventually found my way back to Meldreth and clocked 83m at 17.4 mph. Enjoyed the relaxed ride and conversation....isn't that what cycling is about ? Unfortunately I can't get a vision of a Baboons ass out of my mind!!!! I won't sleep tonight.....
Thanks Robbie for encouraging us to go long! My first Geoff Denny 100 and a great route. The section from Rickling to Great Hormead a particular highlight. High quality riding and company.

Steady is good for this time of year but I'm sure there'll be a few hill primes along the way :)
