Welcome to the forum
Sunday 09.30 ride
Ahoy crew mates
After the sighting of CTJ last week, looks like another lost boy returns
He comes with green bounty and wears many layers
Weather looks ok, possible odd shower
Let me know if coming to curry night
( see other post)
So steady 16mph winter spin, 35 to 40 miles depending on conditions

Should be out this weekend to see the return of No Nonsense Nick aka the Green Goblin.
14 crew last week, who else will be present on deck this week?
We just await Sri Lankan Rupert and the Lost Boys will be complete.
Come and get fit and have some fun with us. All welcome.
Dutchie
Why not surprise us with a combo ????
Nick has booked green
James
PS if Phil appears we head East
Rupert, you need green orange and red for the Sri Lankan flag
No Nonsense has bagged green, I'm in orange,
Will we have a full crew of Lost Boys or will the Hills of the East decimate Neverland?
Everyone welcome as our Cap'n (retired) needs as much shelter as possible, especially as the lead out team are getter leaner.

Buntingford , wyddial , meesdon,chrishall, fowl mere
Wind behind from the east on the return
Lovely jubbly

Such a sky you never did see!
Well ok a bit foggy,
14 out for 43 miles at 16.1mph
Late venture into the easterly lanes
Many lost boys on deck, with Tony missed
( out soon we hope )
Green by Nick, orange by Dutchie, red white and a flash of green by Rupert
Most ended brown, apart from Dutchie with the fake orange tan
See you next week

The future's orange. 2 orange jackets and 2 orange Condors, after we were joined late on by Will the Trumpet.
Speaking of blowing their own trumpet, I think the sprints were mine. I heartily recommend the Cap'n's potion - a level playing field now we all have some!
Cap'n slower than a cart horse. Too much shirking in his retirement. Grimsby Grinder, indeed.
Belgian toothpaste for most in the Essex Lanes and roads around Anstey.
Muddier than an nighttime spin around the Letchworth Greenway on the cross bike. Just need some cucumber for the eyes.
Green Goblin had new winter gear, fresh from Spain, as well as green sunglasses and water bottles. CTJ green with envy, or was that just Sandon Hill?!
Great fun as always, thanks to James and George for coffee and cake afterwards.
See you all next time

if I manage to get all the grit out of my drivetrain, can you let me know if I should send it back to Herts or Essex County Highways?
cheers
Simon
The parrot now coming back to form and putting the work in
Glad the potion helped
Luckily no sprinting on winter rides, so pointless answer I am afraid
Good fun
Mud packs curtesy of Essex and Herts
Said not normally a winter route
Now you know why :-)

Great to see so many out again. The Black Pig bursting at the seams, all cannons manned.
Almost all the regulars present and incorrect, with some welcome new faces on deck. Hope you all enjoyed it.
Might have to form a squadron soon, to ensure group size is safe and manageable, but very tidy riding today everyone, thank you.
Cap'n then promoted to Commodore? Get some of his fantastic natural energy pouches. Tasty and healthy, too.
Hope to see you back soon, Tony. Rupert missed his domestique today!
Tot de volgende keer

Bunch was looking good from where I was, glad to bump into you all whilst out, I was on the verge of getting really bored so very glad of the company!
Road conditions appalling but great company made for a great ride
Thanks
