Can't believe I'm the first one up. BBC weather app says loading light snow between 8 and 9. But going outside, I'm not Michael Fish, it's cold and clear, so on. What time? 9.30 is okay. But need to know by 8.30
Update... Light snow in Henlow Anyone would think weather forecasters know what they are talking about... Will keep a eye on here. Still think it's okay to go atm.
Good turnout on a pretty dam cold day - still at least it stopped snowing before we sent off !!
We all started on Susan's 25 miler, but decide to split into two groups at Wrestlingworth. After that it was just a random jaunt out toward Gransden and back again using all the biggest gritted roads we could find. Here is in on a map (I think!)
No idea how, but we crossed paths with the other group in Gransden - one of us was clearly doing the wrong route
By mile 30 I'd lost of the feeling in my lower limbs, so I let the others trundle down from Hinxworth for a winterised sprint, and I rolled in a couple of mins later.
So 33miles at 16 and a temp no higher than 1 degrees according to Janes's garmin. Thanks all for a good morning and big thanks to Jane and Jez for their sterling work on the front for most of the ride !

On my way shortly
should be ok for B roads
What looked like being a bit of a dicey morning for bikes turned out to be a good ride (and just the workout I needed)
Thanks all
