Still in cautious mood I am afraid
So dreaded turbo for me

1C, wet roads and cold NW breeze....what's not to like, Cap'n?!

I'm going to wait until later in the afternoon, when it's 'warmed up' to 2C

The Black Pig should be renamed The Mary Celeste!

  • Captain on the humble pie
Lots of winter gear for Christmas , but no courage included
    Storms starting to clear
    Time to remove ones finger
Once the infection has cleared !

  • Under par, under power and most certainly under duvet! Have a safe ride
  • Ice cream head conditions. A run for me.

Good to see that the buccaneering spirit is with us all!

Temperature forecast has now doubled to a balmy (barmy?) 2 degrees....will go out mid morning from Hitchin.

Take care on the roads if you're venturing out

    See you all soon, hopefully.

  • Good job the club ride didn't go through your garden then.
    Roads were fine.
    Enjoy the DVD
  • Yes just one crash and a bike write off
    Old age brings wisdom
Or perhaps just pirate "extra light "

Let's hope feb gets a few degrees warmer
    Nice if no ice

Ice Ice Baby, Ice Ice Baby
All right stop, Collaborate and listen
Ice is back with my brand new invention
Something grabs a hold of me tightly
Flow like a harpoon daily and nightly
Will it ever stop? Yo – I don't know
Turn off the lights and I'll glow
To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal
Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle.

Yes, good job my garden wasn't used as the parts in shadow were covered in nasty black ice.

'Roads were fine'...except the 500m+ of black ice that the other 9am ride encountered, with 3 unfortunately falling off, a bike wrecked and 2 people had to be rescued and brought home in cars. Luckily, no one badly injured and hope all OK.

90 minutes of turbo-tastic sprinting with the Isle of Man crew and highlights of Sir Brad's 2012 TdF win. Much safer. Ice? No dice.

    Well the devil may care
You toss 'em back and be a man
    With the last time
    Black ice
End of it all, end of the line
    End of the road
    Black ice
    Black ice
