Justin smashes it!
On Wednesday evening Justin Layne rode in the City RC (Hull) open 10 mile TT on the V718 course.
Justin described this course as "stupidly fast" and managed to beat his own club record by 50 seconds with an amazing time of 18:36 (32.258 mph) for 4th place.

To give you an idea in terms of speed comparison - Matt Sinclair, who was 2nd with 18:29, won the Norlond 10 just 4 days previously on the Brogborough course in a time of 20:05
Fantastic effort, Justin, not least the travelling . More updating to do, oh well at least this might be it for a while for the 10!!

As I said to JMac with the chipping of other courses more local to us and it being less effected by wind the V718 is just so much faster than any other course right now pretty much all the time.
What is scary is that it wasn't even a fast day. There were a number of riders that were 50-60 secs slower than they had managed on the same course a couple of weeks ago!!!!
Don't worry James I'll only be going up there once more this year. Although the travelling is fine as it's only a couple of hours away.
