Get lots of booze in him tonight as a warm up
La Tempesta raises from the storm
Pain is weakness leaving the body
CP
Making it up as you go along Cap'n?
Chilly northerly wind and could be wet, wet, wet tomorrow:
I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes....or is that just the 'recovery' drink working?
...I'll be there, depending on drizzle/steady rain/downpour/biblical flood/grog
FD
Light rain now forecast with a north easterly
So flat route with length dependant on conditions
Set up spring bike for a new boy Chris - be gentle :-)
Sonic back with shiny new machine, will it appear ?
So come you duvet huggers
Wet is the new thing
CP
Mid twenties and a new bike
Same as us then !
CP
The rain in Spain is absent
But hardy pirates will be on deck
Sun cream optional
CP
And probably a wetsuit, mask, snorkel and flippers....
The nautilus sets sail
30,000 leagues under the sea.....
....or will it be The Mary Celeste that sets sail tomorrow?
Forecast no rain from 9 to 13.00
So all hands on deck
For the pig does fly
CP
33 miles at 17.9mph with a crew of 8
New boy Chris did very well
Sargent pain back and on form, launched the main lead out
Robbie looking good and on the front as always
So good luck to the Paris Nice recovery rosters
May the hammer of Thor stay from your rear view
CP
18mph? The hammer went down today... and yesterday on Dom's undercarriage...
...Wait until day 6, the mighty Thor will have been playing havoc!
Good group out today, several Lost Boys found. Sarge back with old favourites such as 'sweat is fat crying' and 'pain is weakness leaving the body'. He couldn't get consecutive sprints this weekend though and Robbie even outfoxed the wily Cap'n, who nearly saw the front of the group for the first time in the last mile. Justice was done.
Croydon Hill is no Ventoux, but seems a little easier to climb these days. Just need to do that for 2 hours to replicate the joys ahead in Provence! Oh well, we'll always have Paris. Climb it again, Sam.
Au revoir
Flying Bogart
John - reckon you and Dom will be fine on Paris Nice. Warmer weather and a bit of Cote du Rhone to dull the pain!
You can raise the Jolly Rodger on the top of Ventoux!
Sargent , robbie and the young one giving it the 1/2/3
Robbie zillion miles won the day
the captain calls Mjolnor in hand.
Well the port anyway
