  Make sure your route takes you through Preston (near Hitchin) so you can call in on the CX race. Teas etc at a very reasonable price!

  I've been sharing an air conditioned classroom all week with someone who had a stinking cold. When I wake up tomorrow, I'm hoping to be convinced that I'm not starting to come down with it.

  It would be 80ish miles. Let's see who turns up on Saturday and go with a consensus view on route.

  Only 4 out this morning soon reducing to 3 as Luke headed home. Gloomy with a cold northerly wind giving a hint that winter isn't too far away. Headed east into Essex and kind of made it up as we went along. Ended up with plenty of hills and quiet roads. Good to catch up with Dom and Tom C.
  
  I ended up with 67miles at 16.7mph. Everyone back home by midday.
