Indeed a tour of the north is the plan.(Dry Drayton via Barrington and back via the Gransdens)
However the guest navigator doesn't function well in the rain and will wimp out if it's raining at 8am when I need to leave home.
So if you plan to ride whatever the weather, please have a route in mind.
Let's hope the forecast is wrong.

Having cried-off work with a sore throat today I'm not sure I'll be joining you. Shame, as I was looking forward to a trip up north. Dave should be out though.
I'm making excuses for tomorrow. Mrs M has buckled and allowed me to purchase a winter steed, but not picking up until next week. Don't fancy the rain and covering you you all with spray tomorow. But next week will be there whatever the weather Simon
Ride of the Two Dave's: Bit thin on the ground numbers-wise this week, think there must have been something exciting on telly... However, an impressive ratio of Dave's to non-Dave's riding made up for the shrunken peloton. Knowing that my geographical knowledge of the Ashwell area is limited exactly to the 10mile TT loop, Mr Norris kindly offered to stand in as guest navigator, taking us (Strava tells me) on a tour of Dunton, Potton, Gamlingay, Croydon, Wendy and Steeple Morden. Lovely easy spin up Northfield, unsurprisingly paying the price on the return leg, which hit the average speed considerably. Finished up on 26.1 miles at 15.6mph, conditions: breezy with a touch of moisture in the air. Sprint: uncontested. https://www.strava.com/activities/428113046

So I won't be navigating today.
