CCA Christmas London-Baldock bash, Fri 18th Dec
Probably the day after most people's office Christmas doo I reckon. So take Friday 18th Dec off and ease into the weekend with CC Ashwell's London-Baldock double-header. Hopefully something to suit all members.
Details tbc. But I'm thinking along the lines of previous years. The accent on London's great pubs.
Lunch at Look Mum No Hands, Old Street.
Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese pub
Ye Olde Mitre pub
The Jerusalem Tavern
Dovetail
Train Kings Cross to Baldock...
Cock Inn
Curry at Dine Bangla.
Be at the start or join at any point during the afternoon or evening.
There'll be the formal Club awards dinner in February. This is very informal.
Cheers

First week in new job, will see where I can meet up
As for you James, I suggest when you get to the restaurant to remember to 'Use the forks'
It is a bit of a circus but at least its honest stuff. Unfortunately I don't get that same feeling when I watch any professional cycling event these days.
Guarantee you'll have fun on your Xmas do!
Don't want to derail the thread but this is worth a look, almost half the list rugby players and a recent darts player but not much interest in talking about it unless its cycling.
current violations.

I'm booking the curry house for next Fri 18th tomorrow. So let me know if you fancy it and not already let me know. Any undecided people out there: I'm sure we can add a few more on the table on the evening.
See you in London between 1pm and 6pm. Or in Baldock from 7pm. Or both.
Call or text to find our whereabouts. We should strava the day really, eh?
Conversation topics will include a definite trip to Flanders in 2016.
Right then. Bring forth the first black pudding scotch egg!

Looking forward to it. Curry. Cycles. Good company. Hang on...
