Commuting Into London
Hello there, long time!
I have been commuting into London again this year and thought I'd see if anyone else is planning the same? Always good to have company.
I have been doing the non scenic, fast route which takes about 2hr30 from Letchworth to Canary Wharf but not fussy at all and happy to go whatever way.
If you're interested just shout.

Welcome back. Have you kept on the bike? Doing more long distance stuff?
I'll join you for a spring/summer ride in and out of london or two. I'm sure others will as well.
What's the non scenic route?
Yep, cycling as much as I can though weekends have been generally a no go for the last few years thus commuting a lot. Though that's getting a bit easier.
Straight down the great north road...pretty much all the way. Sub 2 hours should be more than possible once the weather improves. And it's not as bad as it sounds. Generally don't have to put a foot down until Barnet and traffic is light that time in the morning.
