Around 10 of us out for a balmy tour round the Stevenage loop. We headed south first to make the most of the tailwind on the way home, and due to forgetting the loop to avoid Walkern high street we ended up with a slightly shorter ride than normal. Still, an excellent cup of tea in the Tuns and home in time to watch the tour. Bob - hope you're ok after your early encounter with the ditch?

Thanks all for some tidy riding and great company. Final stats 38 miles at a shade over 17mph.

    Thanks Jenny. Not sure what happened there - think the guy in front (don't know his name - black/pink shorts ) must have braked so I tried not to do a Froome and go into back of him but had to go into the ditch. Fortunately a soft landing but nudged my rear derailleur and armful of stinging nettles. Just beginning to feel my fingers now!
