  i could be tempted by getting off road and muddy. What sort of terrain is it - CX or MTB?
  that said my CX bike has 'gravel' tyres so might be useless in slippy mud.

  cx is fine and gravel tyres will be ok

  cool - i will see how bad the rain is first thing and will drop a note to say if im still keen or not...its looking rather grim at the moment.
