    Mark’s off road route was so sublime it really felt like I was on holiday today. Somewhere like Brittany; however I don’t think I left Hertfordshire. At one point when we were deep in the fields Stevie commented ‘I can’t hear any traffic’. The skylarks were noisy though! Perfect weather added to stay-cation feel as did a fine lunch at Ardeley. I did have quite a long snooze when I got home; arh, Sundays...
