Been a few weeks of flat, so how about something more lumpy? Southerly breeze so lets go south west for some climbing in the Sundon hills :)

Ashwell-Henlow-Barton-Sundon-Lilly-Whitwell-Baldock-Ashwell (50 miles)

    Eight of us out this morning for the spin out west. Weird wind direction, south easterly I think, so not really a tailwind on the way out on the way back. Was amazingly Spring like though, almost hot when the sun came out - lovely and about time too !!

    Def a lumpy route this one and Sundon hill was stupidly hard. I'm sure it wasn't 15% last time I rode up it ! Still all good character building stuff as they say, and on the plus side it was (mainly) downhill all the way back.

    Bit of a detour for the return as Baldock lane was shut, so we found a back way through letchworth and dropped down Norton bury lane before a dash back via Newnham.

    So 52 miles @ 16.5 & T outside in the Tuns garden. Thanks all for a top morning :)
