Going to be another toastie one tomorrow - lovely :)

How about we do the 'back of Elmdon' route that we did back in June, hopefully the excellently re-surfaced road to won't have melted in the heat!

Ashwell-Bassingbourn-Shepreth-fowlmere-back of Elmdon-Littlebury-Dudenhoe End-Langley-Anstey-Wydial-Buntingford-Sandon-Ashwell (46 miles)

    Bumper turnout this morning for the spin into Essex. Lovely temp first thing too, before it stated to ramp up again....

    All together for a nice flat warmup to Fowlmre before 4 peelers left us and the rest of us headed over the 505 and into the lumps and bumps of Essex. And boy were there a lot of them, I seem to have inadvertently mapped every meter of ascent on the Herts, Essex border - whoops ;)

    Bit of a deviation from the planned route (as std!) so back via a lovely back road to Nuthamsted before the uphill grind to Therfield.

    So 46 @ 16 & a glorious day to be out on a bike. Thanks all enjoyed that !
