Saturday 21st September 9.30am club ride

Looks like a cracking day weather of weather again tomorrow. Global warming is probably not good for the planet, but its great for late September cycling :)

How about we do Grafham without the water, nice and flat. We can come back via Everton as below or back via Moggerhanger/Langford. Can decide on route......

Ashwell-Wrestlingworth-Potton-Tetworth Hill-St Neots-Hail Weston-Gt Slaugherton-Colemworth-Gt Barford-Tempsford-Everton-Potton-Hinxwoth-Ashwell (51 miles)

  • Sadly will miss out on superb weather for cycling tomorrow - off to the T20 finals with friends. Hopefully back next week. Enjoy, those who get out.
  • Hope to see you guys in the morning.
  • Looking forward to it!
  • Cricket in the sunshine sounds like a great alternative Simon - enjoy :)

Well what a day Saturday was, a bit like July in September - glorious !

9 of us out for the route above. Thought I might have made the wrong decision going north with a SE wind, but it turns out that a SE wind makes for a quick ride in any direction :)

So, to summarize - Speedy out: speedy return: 51 miles at a shade under 18.

Cheers all for a great morning, hopefully more global warming next week !
