Saturday 1st October - 9.30 club ride
Bit of a moderate westerly forecast for tomorrow, so lets head that way first and then moan when it's not a tailwind on the way back 
How about some version of the Stewartby loop ? This one does the road from Haynes down to Clophill so it's not so much of an out and back but we should still get the blast to Chicksands on the way back
Ashwell-Haynes-Clophill-Maulden-Ampthill-Stewartby-Old Warden-Broom-langford-Ashwell (52miles)

If we want a shorter one we can chop off the Stewartby loop to make it about 44 miles
Mid ride refreshment if required in either Ampthill or the Kiln Stewartby
