Ok so looks like David will still be away this week 'enjoying' the oven that is Cyprus, so I thought I'd jump in with an early route suggestion.
Jane would like to join us so how about we head east and do the alternative Debden Barns route to the one we did when we went there back in July, which is about 50 miles:

It actually looks like the weather will be very good at this stage: 23 degrees and a light easterly-ish wind.
