3rd 2025 Season Evening 10TT - Wrestlingworth-RAB-Wrestlingworth - Wednesday May 28
The third CCA midweek Time Trial of the 2025 season will be this Wednesday 28th May.
Sign-on from about 18:15 in the foyer of the Guilden Morden Village Hall. First rider off 19:01.
The cost to ride is £5 for CCA and CCA Youth members (chaperons are free) and £6 for non-CCA.
We provisionally have 4 junior riders, as it is half-term, who will start first so first senior riders will be from 19:05 - but you still need to sign on by 18:45 as we have to shut and lock the village hall.
The weather forecast, for what it's worth, has Wednesday evening as sunny with a gentle breeze. Combined with the quieter half term traffic this may be an opportunity to good to miss.
Any youth riders whose parents have not already provided a parental consent form, please contact Matthew Brazier.
We look forward to seeing you all.

Review: Another pleasant weather evening's racing with a gentle wind in a benign direction. Turnout was lower with 11 competitors, and 1 chaperon. Numbers were reduced by a block on the most junior riders (hopefully temporary), half term and other commitments. 6 CCA members and 5 from other clubs, including a very fast, visiting Dubai-based tester.
Full set of Wednesday 28 May evening's Time Trial results.
Tonight's results:
1. Rashid Alblooshi 20.29
2. Brendan Ronayne 23.16
3. Simon Marlow 25.55
4. Stephen Douglas 25.56
5. Rob Bumstead 25.59
6. Emma Koppe 27.34
7. Coireall Marlow 28:53
8. Ben Pruchnie 29:02
9. Trevor Lunnon 29.45
10. Stephen Oliver 31:34
20. Liam Hattam 32.19
Most times were broadly in line with previous week with continuing improvement by Simon Marlow on to the podium with a 24 second improvement and Trevor Lunnon starting to find his sub 30 min groove. Clearly visiting Rashid's time is exceptional, especially as he missed his start time due to going to the 25M TT start and was fully warmed up (possibly a little cooked) once on track.
Anyone know the W-RAB-W course record?
Ben Pruchnie's remarkable consistency continues with a two second improvement on the recorded same time of the last two events.
Thanks to Rob Buky for marshalling and sign collecting.
The next scheduled TT is Wednesday 11th June
Thank you
