A cyclists paradise. Cycling Girona is unlike cycling anywhere else in the world. It’s not just the weather,
roads and architecture. It’s the fact you feel you’re wandering into the home of the professional
peloton.
Girona was made famous by being Lance Armstrong’s base in the ‘90s, but that’s just the start. There
are hundreds of professional cyclists and triathletes, all based in and around Girona.
SPAINS CATALONIA REGION – With glorious hills and sparkling Mediterranean coastline, the Spanish
region of Catalonia ticks all the boxes for a cycling paradise. This is why Catalonia is one of the world’s
most popular cycling destinations

• DISTANCE – Approximately 360 miles (approximately 30,000 ft of climbing)
• BIKES – Ride your own bike ! Collection and delivery can be arranged, door to door, and back, for an
extra £65 each way
• FULLY SUPPORTED TOUR, with 6 days cycling, averaging approximately 50-60 miles a day. 7 nights
accommodation. Cycling leader plus support vehicle carrying luggage.
• ACTIVITY LEVEL – 7/10 – challenging.
• FLIGHTS – Fly into Barcelona, Saturday 9th May (or earlier). Fly out of Girona, Saturday 16th May (or later)
