CYCLOSPORTIF...NEW FOREST...23rd AUGUST
The Rattler is a new Cyclosportive located in the New Forest National Park. You can choose from one of two routes depending on what sort of challenge you are looking for a shorter route of 47 miles or a more demanding 78 mile course.
Each route entails great cycling terrain. There are sweeping flat sections that in the right weather conditions enable great speed, but in the wrong conditions these exposed sections become hellish and can be a real test! There are some punchy hills on our routes too, including the famous 25% wall called Blissford Hill!
Each of our routes take in the spectacular scenery that the New Forest has to offer. You will encounter ancient Redwoods when passing through Ornamental Drive, wild animals grazing at the roadside and picturesque villages and hamlets.
50% of the profit made from this event will go to our chosen charity, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Cystic Fibrosis is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease and the Trust is the UK's only national charity dedicated to all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis.
