  • what would you know of WET Chris :-)

did it come down after we restarted in Wrestlingworth......5 mins after leaving you the skies opened and deluged us....good route of Bob's and one for the future...Good winter ride option..plenty of outs if needed

14 out and good company...everyone rode the main part together...we started dropping people who turned to go home their separate ways from Wrestlingworth onwards.

distance 39 miles at 18.3mph av....steady start and gradual speed up until wind assisted when we really motored for a while
  • squelch squelch squelch... that was wet! hope everyone got home safely
  • Hi all - I made it back with Bob. I think we did the 39 miles but not 18.3. Time to buy a shower proof top methinks.
  • Bob - no cycling kit yet invented would have kept that deluge out! i wish i'd had a gilet as would have at least kept body warm.
  • agree Stef. was epic.
As I said on Wed. that weather was typical of the rain I had for 6 days on the trot doing that Newcastle to Galway ride a couple of years ago.....in that skinsuit to boot.....
