Not sure what 'shortcut' we were on from Old Warden! I finished on 78 at 18.6mph. Good loop - thanks all.

Yep, I'm in.

Great ride - bit of suffering in the cold and wet near Grafham, but that tailwind raised the spirits (and the body temperature!) for the way back. 77 miles at 18.2. Thanks Shaun for the route-finding.

I'm in.

Thanks all - a good loop with a useful sting in the tail for the finish. Weather was far more co-operative than expected - nice when it works out that way!

I'm sure Sharpenhoe and Sundon can be used to great effect and without compromise...
See you tomorrow. -
I also got in on the 'Bequest Draw'. Starting to feel pretty lucky as there are a lot more disappointments it seems.
-
Will be at the Tuns at 8.
-
Stef I'm interested, date pending.

Change that to a yes - have now got in via the charity sponsorship route.
-
A 'no' for me too...

Too many people to thank (riders, mechanics, other club members, stroppy Welshmen...) but suffice it to say it was a brilliant trip, born out of the bottom of a few Tributes at the Parcel Yard.

Nice work Martin.
Hope 4 arrived today, alongside a new set of mudguards. Let's hope both are redundant!!

Great ride all - really enjoyed it. Very nearly tipping into winter riding now - Ghent providing just enough incentive to push the pedals a bit harder.

Many thanks Tim for keeping the TTs rolling all season.

At Wembley tomorrow. Looks like a great day for it though - enjoy!

On my way shortly...

Vincent you can have both! I'll be at the grass track and am currently planning to head off towards Saffron Walden afterwards if you would like to join.

Martin I don't recall whether you hadn't arrived yet, or were too busy showing your moves with Jagger, but the train option is definately in play. One of these days I am planning to pop into the Eurostar counter at St Pancras to get train times and c…

Many thanks to the selfless volunteers and congratulations to all in the saddle.

Tim I'll be there as well.

A really enjoyable loop, taking in Hexton Hill, the Lilley Valley and the short, sharp kick out of Cromer back towards Hitchin via Graveley. Surprised not to see any other CCA riders as the 80 mile loop went right through Ashwell High Street.

Martin - keen to chat about Ghent; may be selective with my conversation some of the other topics and I have no idea what MC has in mind!!
Adam -
Yes it's basically a club ride but thought I would go along to this. Joiners welcome.
Adam -
Many thanks for squeezing in a late starter. Great fun as always.
Adam -
Hoping to be there as well.

Book into the Ibis.
-
Up for this - Martin thanks for taking the lead...
I'm keen to ride as much of the journey down as possible - Tim's Ghent stories make it sound more like a pilgrimage than anything else.

Big evening gents; many thanks.
Much obliged to the organiser; jagermeister-fuelled and with an unflinching committment to find a local pub still open at midnight on a Wednesday.
I have a feeling that the suspects will be r… -
Many thanks - will be there on the 19th.
