I've entered - good guide here on it: https://cyclingtips.com/2019/07/how-to-pick-the-best-tour-de-france-fantasy-team/
-
I will try post an update from today's ride a little later!
-
Sorry Andy, I'm in Heathrow now and flying to Italy to drag my fat ass* up some mountains, I hope to post up some reports. * fat as in I'll never be a light weight climber, though I could lose a fe Kgs!
-
Sounds like great fun and the pictures are great. Another entry on the potential 2020 itinerary!
-
Planning to be out Andy,
-
I'm really up for riding, after Sunday I'm buzzing and want to smash my PB on this TT course
-
Really good event and well run and supported. First time for me spending extended time on the tri bars and going hard with the TT helmet on, through sheer bloody mindlessnes I stayed in the aero position for most of the ride. End of the first la…

Hey all, as a TT unit we're doing so well it would be great if we can have all our big hitters riding this event and the rest of the club cheering us on and volunteering. If people can give up their time to volunteer and support that would be mu…

Am entered now, anyone else joining? Any chance of an updated rider list?
-
I can race, but if you need me to volunteer I can do as I fly to Italy on the 3rd to do the maratona so may be safer to help out!
-
Great report Dave - I'll be racing the Biggleswade event if I can borrow a club bike please. As above there's a great atmosphere at the grass track from my experience, so why not give it a go.
-
To echo what MC another fantastic trip, with fantastic riding. I'm feeling so strong after these trips and they are hard and will help prepare you for anything (I have the maratona to look forward to). Thanks for having us Geoff and MC driving, …
-
Hi Sheldon, I'm interested in the medium if it's still available? Cheers Alistair
-
Hey Andy, put my name down to help though would prefer to ride if possible. See you tomorrow.
-
Sorry all, can't make it I will be up in Yorkshire at Geoff's with MC. I could be up for the next one dependent on dates.
-
Got the Monday booked off too, so will be coming up with MC if he'll have me again! Anyone else coming up for some climbing miles?
-
I got a KOM too, though a joint KOM with an old club mate in London Phoenix though I can't figure it out where it is I assume it was where we tore it up at the end on the gravel.
-
It was a good day and some great gravel riding. I think nearly everyone punctured, bar a few people. That last segment towards the end which was very long was great fun with us racing each other.
-
Very much enjoyed that, good event and I will be back next week to try set a PB on a better bike and not making any wrong turns! I was struggling on the commute home today and had to stop for a gel and then crawled home as Strappy saw when he fl…

Great post and some great pointers for a TT novice such as me. Hope it is as inspiring to others as it is to me!
-
Hi Andy, I've put myself down to help out. It will give me a feel for the event and maybe a chance to ride the course at some point!
-
Add me too on my gravel bike with 38mm tyres
-
Yep it was great fun and thanks for warm welcome from all. I'm looking forward to more sessions.
-
I'm interested in joining these along with grass track and the club 10 (not sure I can do 3 days on the trot!). As I'll be coming from work is there anywhere to dump my rucksack or shall I just not bring it? Also is it worth having a sticky…
-
Okay cheers will do. Am I okay to use one of the clubs bikes for racing please, I don't have a grass racing bike!
-
Hi, I'm happy to help, just let me know what needs doing. Is it possible to race and help out too? Cheers Alistair
-
Good luck Martin looks great fun and is definitely something I need to consider for next year.
-
I could be interested in the Road Reliability Ride - it's only 10 miles so I could ride over from Biggleswade. Still undecided whether to ride the winter bike or get the race bike out, but definitely up for the fast group.
-
Hi Dave, Thanks for responding, no I don't think we've met so far! I'm 34 and a Cat 4 racer i'm afraid, i've raced a few crits and had a major crash at Hillingdon which has put me of racing for a few years but i'd like to get back into it. I'm afr…

Hi All - I'm interested in racing a lot more this year and especially Road Races. Do people normally post up if they're doing races etc? I'm interested in doing the London Phoenix (my old club) Road Race on March 24th and was wondering if anybody el…
