Cheers for the advice gents. I have gone for the Conti Sprinters based on budget but have ordered some Stans no tubes to help with the puncture protection. Next challenge will be fitting them so i will be defo swotting up on this before they arrive!!…

I have a detailed route map from when i did this in 2009 if your interested. It's a scenic route and takes in some superb quiet roads with very few main A roads involved. Its definitely not the quickest route and covers just short of 1000 miles but…

Really sad to hear this news. I did highlight this in Trisports when i was there earlier, which may help if they get someone trying to sell on the goods.
I hope they get the sxxts that have done this.

Well done Geoff. I heard you also did the Ironman race a few months ago and got an amazing time of 13 and a half hours. Well done to you and hats off for an amazing achievment!!!

Thanks to all for a great ride. The weather was superb and i even enjoyed the run up Sharpenhoe Clappers!!! Although the Sundon hill looks a bit of a beast but great fun going down.

Thanks chaps for getting me round. The hills did seem like mountains in places and my legs were really letting me know i need to get out on the bike more. Really enjoyed the ride and banter especially the tea stop!!! See you soon.
