Thanks James, very useful and saved a bunch of time/frustration!

Yep, me too, I had to double check! I think it was due to be held on Saturday originally. Bit disappointed, was looking forward to that course again!

Sunday is the 24th.

Can't make it now, but I 'returned' my e-ticket last week so someone else could go. Please report back!

Thanks to everyone who made this race happen today! And to those who made it to support the Three Tuns too. And a special thanks to Richard Maynard for his last minute tweaks to The Terminator. She rode like a dream!

Tim at the Three Tuns has kindly agreed to open for us at 11 tomorrow. A big hot pot of filter coffee will be waiting for us. This is incredibly kind of them! See you all back there for a hot drink and some post-race chat.

Looked like a good group when I saw you lot leaving Ashwell. Sorry to miss it. Had to visit Mother in Norfolk so contented myself with a bit of early morning position testing and threshold torture.

Well done to the racers! Daniel, a classic case of GDS -- Garmin Dependence Syndrome, haha!

I'm pretty sure it was Krill Oil suppositories with a wax applicator ... I might have got that wrong ...

Most excellent, thanks Justin, and Martin for organising! We never did get to the new club TT course though ... Is it a shorted version of the F14/12? Or are we taking the little cut-through?
-
Super, thank you TD. I'll try to rope in a bod or two. Course details halfway down on the club TT page.

That's just awesome!

Nice one Stuart!

Thanks GG! I feel like a teenager who's been offered a Class-A for the first time (c'mon, everyone's doing it, it's cool) and had the good sense to refuse. Close call ...

After considerable soul-searching, the 520 has been returned to the retailer, box unopened. I just can't bring myself to put it on the bike. I've no doubt that training with power is a "superior" way to train. And I'm not immune to the attraction of…

Good idea, thanks Pete!

Absolutely Mr Danckert ... might be calling upon your expertise for a bit of help in that regard. I completely get all the training concepts and just how fabby it all is, but more on the practical side of collecting, organising and uploading data ...…

And Strava is EVIL ... Apparently. Read me ... And turns people into self-obsessed narcissists ... And a "not very nice person" ...
