Thanks so much Paul, that's mega helpful. It'll likely be in the early evening.

Haha - please get my name down! Will take a pair of aero socks when I see you next Mat ;-) I suspect it'll make all the difference when I'm trying to cling on to you and Martin...
-
Socks - if there is a way of ordering, I'd also like some :-) (Prob a couple of pairs, good for size 8)
-
Hello Dan. If it helps meet the order, I'd take another small pro jersey. Assume this is the Endura one?
-
Yep. Got there in the end. Just enjoyed a celebratory curry, so all good! Thanks for the tow chaps, and great cafe stop.
-
Bit weird tomorrow. If you don't mind, I'll tag along until Woodford Mill before continuing on to the far side of Leicester. Into the headwind :-(
-
Cheers chaps, great ride. I enjoy that route, even if cream-crackered by Redbourn. Thumbs up for Phil's route mods, avoiding that dank, gravel-strewn hill.
-
Blue egg = cake. I'm IN!
-
If my wheels are buckled, can I bill you Martin? "Small off-road bit" - hmm... Great ride, cheers chaps. And good luck Dan with the race.
-
Great to have our "road captain" back in action! I, for one, can return to blindly pedalling and not worrying about getting lost :-)
-
"Organ Barn" :-) That pothole is almost impossible to spot in dappled shade. Perfectly placed to catch a cyclist out. Glad you're ok Tim. My plan to create a drop bar MTB comes ever nearer to reality...
-
See you there chaps
-
I hope you both had more luck than I did? I rode over this morning, only to find the cafe closed! 130km+ round trip and no cake
-
Many apologies all, but I'm going to have to miss this one. I'm really sorry for this cropping up late in the day. On the plus side, someone else has the chance to do the ride!
-
Good to catch up Will. Shame you couldn't stay a little longer, you could have dragged us up that Brickhill shocker... Great ride and route chaps in genuine Spring weather. And good cafe stop. Very tired now! Left my legs on Sharpenhoe Clappers …
-
I can make it. Chance to ride a proper bike, sans mudguards.
-
You spent a lot of time riding on the front for someone hanging on James! Good ride and company as ever chaps.
-
G'won then James, let's get the 8am show on the road... (No new bike this year)
-
Size Small for me - Andy R on it please! (Anyone else getting a disturbing image of a gang of blue hoodies roaming the streets of Diiksmuide?)
-
"Form is temporary, class is permanent." Or something ;-)
-
Cheers chaps, enjoyed that. You're all riding strongly. Highlight though - seeing Phil K back out and about in Ashwell colours. Good stuff!
-
I hope to make it but don't wait for me. I've been a little under the weather during the week, so will have to test the legs first thing tomorrow.
-
I'd be interested, although others who have already expressed their interest should be the priority.
-
We'll ride over if space allows. I'll attempt to make it over the Thames this time ;-)
-
+ Neil R. He even promised to join the club...
-
Happy to help Will, holiday plans allowing. I remember marshalling with JP by the church in Eversden - I could reprise my role?

Great idea. If around, I'll definitely help out. Any chance to resurrect my TDF Marshall clobber ;-)
-
Good idea, should be there
-
Cheers all for WT jersey recommendations. Super quality and fit; arms tight enough to fit my matchsticks :-)
