Pete - If I'm not mistaken, most of us have C C Ashwell or suchlike against our names as we signed up as British Cycling members - the club's name gets autopopulated as a result. So up to you really! I don't think I'm misunderstanding this one...

Can I just turn up and buy one on spec (probably a size S)? How do you require payment? Cash or cheque best?
Andy(Whispers) Sounds like ideal triathlon training...Hmm I might have to join in - I got beaten up in the wind on my last club run :-(. I've just bought a power meter to do some steady riding this winter, so no excuses...
By a "flap" I guess you're talking a small section of plastic at the…Me too. I'm nervous already.I'm happy to help out however I can, both before and after cheering my son on in the U10s!The Crosslight wheels £239 on ProBikeKit atm. Discount codes are easy to find. I fancy a set for my Pinnacle (argh £££££££££££).
I've been running the Michelin Mud 2 clinchers and have found they roll well on roads and dry tr…LikewiseWell, it sold the ride to me! Looks awesome chaps, great job all.Good luck all - enjoy the trip. I'm very jealous indeed!Hello all - I'm also going to ride this, although I'll have to pay on the day (my usual level of disorganisation meant I missed on-line registration). I'll probably not make it for an 8.15 meet though as I've got the family in tow for the day; my boy…Count me in!
(Is that the 200km+ ride I've just signed up for?)Cheers Mark for arranging this. I very much enjoyed the ride and route; I had no idea that a road bike would be able to cope with that level of punishment.
Btw - Well done to Noah on his longest ride. Judging by how well he went at this …Apols chaps, won't make it after all, little injury not quite cleared sufficiently to manage the distance. Might see you out in a couple of weeks time.I should make it out
