Worth putting up wanted ad's on bikeradar/ the time trialling forum?
-
Will you be doing many more of this series? I'm tempted but my flight lands at around 6:30 am that morning, probably doable but may not be in a good state after 2 weeks off the bike! What are these races like Martin? Tah
-
No worries, I'm being shipped off to South Africa for 2 weeks with work, returning the day before, so expect to be fresh but unprepared!
-
Will, I'm interested. On the topic of TMG pro, is the kit order you were sorting going to be ready soon?
-
Anyone up for a recce of the climbs this weekend? Pretty flexible over both days but some company is always welcome! Cheers
-
Glad to hear you came off relatively ok, heal strong!

Ed, i just have a bog standard elite traine rand use an ant dongle in the computer in conjunction with Traineroad, you sign up and there are loads of plans, most turbos have a calibration curve supported by the site...it will display virtual power us…

I'm up for some racing next year, even if its just in a domestique role, probably a bit of a wimp when it comes to the sharp pushy-shovey end of things. Let me know when you start doing a few events and I'll look into getting my BC license.

Sounds good to me. Let me know when youre up for Therfield hill reps, will join in if thats cool

I would be up for that occasionally....

Great time Will, well ridden

I'm in, good turnout by the looks of it

Great ride Emma. I was 9th to last off at 4:21. I set the bike up on the trainer to warmup and promptly retreated into the car as the heavens opened at about 3:20. I sat there pondering whether to ride, but handily it left off and I got a good warmup…

Yup echoing the above, thank you all for welcoming me into the club, and especially to James for the organizing and Rob for the pushing off. (if we could swap bikes too, that would be great!) Never would have started to ride open events if it wasn't …

TT focused week for me, I'll probably see you on the loop. Have a good ride. Look out for pop up weekend sessions on the forum
-
Hopefully I hid the sign in the right place.
-
Yep thanks chaps, really well paced solid riding. I was going to suggest a weekend chaingang that can perhaps be longer when we have more daylight also.
-
Ok, tuns around 6:45-6:50 roll out at 7
-
Marshaling next week so 1 last chance for under 22. Doing a wind and weather dance as we speak. Many thanks to all the marshals last night for allowing it to happen
-
I'll probably only do a lap and half with the big bunch as it will be getting pretty dark by the time I get back to Royston. I'll likely head out early for a lap/lap and a half and RV in Steeple at 7:35. If anyone wants to join feel free and can mee…

Power meter calibrated properly? Having a shift there or it not being zeroed correctly could account for any oddities. That and batteries being on last legs etc..i tend to ride similar powers for both road and TT as i do a fair amount of training on …

To echo above, thanks all for the hosting, if you could sort the wind out for next year that would be great!
-
Blimey, that's a surprise. Many thanks to all the marshals, time keepers and cake bakers. winning time of 53 yesterday, strewth...

Thats mine James, can i pick it up Sunday? Tah
-
Will, thanks for doing this, what size do you take? Wondered if I can a std jersey and the winter jacket? Stick me down for a 03230 Jersey, £54.44 in Medium, will ponder the Aero jersey (tried one on at the club night, you're right about the fit!) …

Ventured to Ashwell to see if anyone else was feeling intrepid. Not so. Made like Steve Cummings ( -150W and a bagfull of souplesse) and TT'd home. Now to Wiggle to find more waterproof kit
