slightly late to the party but again thanks everyone for pushing off/timing/caking and generally being a top club to be associated with. I ran out of gas for the 2nd lap, saving it all for this Sunday (hopefully) all this long slow diesel riding is n…

@wilburtrump not this year, a CX bike would be chaos in the flat! Might try a have a go session on a borrowed bike then look into it more next! Thanks though
-
Going to be a good tussle at the interclub between Luke and I again
-
fantastic riding Jackie and James!
-
I will be on my way to Cornwall to attempt a 9 day End to End. Stuart, maybe we can do a more informal one on a weekend sometime!? (Others also welcome)
-
Tim, sorry to be a massive pain but I can no longer make the 16th, will make it up on next years marshaling allocation!
-
Bit squeeky Luke Top work!
-
Would it be worth having a name and shame policy at the discretion of the toll bar marshal for offences. First offence a warning (depending on severity) and then potentially a ban if repeats occur. The one time I was marshaling here, I was giving sp…

Could i have another late start James as will be riding over again
-
You weren't being played, i hit a little rough patch along that road, looked back and you were coming like a intercity express which steeled my resolve a bit, top work! It did feel like a very tough night and i slowed down too
-
James is there a way to request a lateish start time as I'll be riding over from Royston, long distance training dictates 5 hours riding so can chuck the race in the middle, but would help with some rest!
-
To make things interesting I'm going to offer myself up as a carrot, will be out on my TT bike and nip off the front before the chain starts to build up a gap. Catch me if you can. I'll sit up and drop off the back if you do, i don't need any telling…

Hi Gino, interested in the gilet, is it fabric or the light foldable plastic stuff? Cheers!
-
What Will said. Cyclepowermeters.com seem to always get very good service reviews, they were helpful when I was choosing mine.

To add, I've had a Quarq for about 2.5 years now, and it has been nothing short of excellent, I think I've changed the battery twice in that time and that's it. Swap it regularly between my TT and Road bikes, wind, rain, mountains, being whacked with…

Early start though

What happened with the car, assume everyone is alright? As mentioned it was a big group and no one seemed willing to take the initiative, I'm happy too any time I'm there to make that call, as long as it isn't going to put peoples noses out like last…

Cant seem to upload the excellent picture taken. Nevermind.

Great effort all, good work JMac and James on the course PB! I've never managed to master the 25 here
-
Great riding Jackie! That must be some drive back down here!
-
Gareth, I'm interested in this for the lady, is ot still available?
-
Hi Tim, stick me down for the 16th September
-
Thanks all, Adam that's a quick quick time on a road bike! Middle markers 25 on the E2 on the 4th June! I have the ECCA 50 tomorrow so hoping the form rolls over
-
Thanks for a great ride all. I did think it might have been a little controversial, but assumed that groups would organise themselves no matter what and why I did it on the flat/tailwind section: usually the hardest point to put a dig in and get away…
-
Thanks to the Marshalls for standing in the cold for us all! Sorry i had to dash off
-
Great news, cant wait, be good to maybe throw some attacks in for the racers to chase down etc, bit of actual race simulation probably a good thing (where safe) I'll see what I can do
-
Not forgetting you William, Chapeau for putting on such a well run event! Maybe i'll toe the start next year after seeing how slickly it all went!
-
Thanks chaps, most enjoyable
