An excellent turn out in Baldock high street and a great event - a few photos below
-
Hi Ant - I've whispered you.
-
The headwind on the way out was a killer but it was a great turn out from the club. Well done to Jackie for being the first lady home and I'm well pleased with a new PB by half a minute. What a great start to Easter Sunday.
-
Does anyone have any info for this tomorrow - route, sign on location, start times, price.........anything would be nice :-)
-
Sounds like a good way to jazz things up a bit - looking forward to it. I fully agree with Matt's suggestion about rewarding those kind enough to take a week or two off entering to ensure that this event runs each week.

It sure did survive - look at this beauty!
-
Thanks to all timekeepers and Marshall's. Was a bit of a grim morning really especially that breeze. I'd like to claim the prize for the fastest winter bike time with mudguards and fat tyres :-)
Enjoyed it.....I think. -
Me and David are in for the medio? Anyone else fancy a medio blue train?
Looking forward to those gravelly descents again! -
Great ride today - thanks Tim

Excellent ride today - thanks all.
Although I do think that it is slightly unfair for you all to have ganged up to stop a lady winning the sprint. Oh well if you do have to resort to such tactics..... :-) -
Hi Gwen,
i'm now back from holiday and so will come along tonight and see what its all about.

Hi Gwen
Sounds good I'd like to join you but can't make the first session. Will see you after that.
Emma -
Hi Gwen,
I'd be up for giving it a try. Can only make evenings - preference is Thurs.
Emma -
Me and David are interested in joining you.
We would be leaving from Baldock via Sandon so could meet you at Hare street - what time do you reckon you will be there?
Emma -
Hi Adam,
It's pretty big 55x45cm and I would say you would get a full change of clothes in it. However it doesn't look particularly easy to carry on a bike. Having said that you could carry a different bag and then just put it inside th… -
Me and David are numbers 11647 and 648 in blue wave G as well so it should be fairly easy to spot everyone in their CCA gear. Where are people sticking their frame sticker - slightly worried it may take off the paint....
See you sun
I didnt see this post until i'd already volunteered to eat all my cake!Oh no thats a shame and I bet I wont be able to make a reschedule ddate if there is one! I completely understand though Tim and thanks for giving us enough notice.
I guess i'll just have to eat the cakes myself.......and then do a massi…Put me down to make a cake - probably chocolate and Guinness. Put David down for timekeeping as he's too much of a wuss to ride it :-)Hi Stef
I haven't received an email regarding travel or a survey (have checked spam) - David has though so I'm guessing I can use that link. The more I read the more his is beginning to sound like a logistical nightmare!
Emm…It certainly was windy out there this morning!
Am well chuffed with 43mins for my first 15miler and first time ever on that course. Congrats to all - some good times. Does anyone know which club won overall?
EmmaMyself, David and Tom H set off into the glorious welsh mountains for what can only be described as an awesome ride. Excellent organisation, fantastic scenery and even better weather. My worst fear was that it was going to be wet and miserable in tra…Good ride boys - some great times! I wanted to take part but I'm afraid that dragon ride training had to take priority this time :-(Excellent news that all teams got in - thanks for organising Stef.
Will sort out registration and payment this weekend once we get the link so we are definitely in!
Emma and DavidA great afternoon in the sun and a well organised TT. My first time on this course, really enjoyed it and well pleased with my PB for 10 miles. If I could master roundabouts and had all the kit who knows what it could have been :-)
Excel…Sounds good - I can make it now and the weather is looking good.
Tim - is the Marston Moretane visitor centre for the HQ, the same place as the Forest Centre and Millenium Park, MK43 0PR?
Thanks
EmmaThanks Stef - fingers crossedWhat a pain!
I had already registered thinking it was Sun AM. I'm not sure that I can make Sat PM and am not likely to know until the day before......
Also hoping that the traffic won't be too busy at that time.Nice to finally be out in some sun even though it was hard work with my dodgy lungs. Thanks to those that rode with me at times - my heart rate monitor confirmed my weakened state when it told me it had been close to 160 bpm for 4 hours - obviously t…Sounds good
Bring on the pain!
See you tomorrow
