Some great performances from the ladies: Jackie 4th Vet, Harley and Sophie came 5th and 9th respectively in U14s Does the glory make it less of a chore to clean all that mud off your bikes ... or are you tempted to leave it there, as a memento?
-
Mitch, that's outrageous!
-
FANtastic Robbie!
-
Glad to hear you're home safe, Phil. Also q glad to have missed the 'tasty' bits today It's turbo time here. Going to find out what my Functional Threshold is ... and radiate a bit more heat into my house in the process
-
Turbo for me I made the room temperature go up 4 degrees today, by pedalling for an hour. Reckon Tacx should put that in their sales materials

Go Andy!
-
Andy - yes, definitely, come ride the track
-
Hoping David Norris and Dave (- don't know your surname, sorry) who rode strongly with the 9:30 group today will join us too
-
Congratulations also due to Janet who was placed 3rd at Lea Valley just before Christmas. Janet - if you were trying to keep it quiet, I'm sorry, but the rest of us want to celebrate! And if I'm already out of date and you've got more good news to …
-
Not a problem, Alison. Everyone knew Rebecca is v capable of finding her own way home, but that's just not in the spirit of a club ride I haven't seen her in a while, so it was vgd to catch up

Thanks All - enjoyed that! Wet, gritty, great caf

Hey, Flamme Rouge - great idea! Espresso, bike bling and a chat with CCA's latest entrepreneur in the shape of Mr Quiggin Forecast is more changeable than the weather itself, at the mo, so my fingers are crossed for a tailwind and for all the rain…

I'm in. Cheers Andrew!

Really enjoyed that. Sunshine and a tidy group. Thanks All
-
Thanks for navigating, Carmelo Amazing sunshine today

C'mon, this is WINTER riding. No summer bikes! No showing off - if you've got something to prove, there's plenty of racing at Hillingdon and Lee Valley. Winter riding is about building a base and working together: Welcome to 3 months of wet grey a…

Don't remember the sunshine and I got v wet for a 'light shower' day, but that was good fun V tidy group and vgd to meet Harry along the way
-
Cheers Martin. That last shot's going in my 'album' (- actually, it'll be a file on my hard drive, but if I still had an album, it'd definitely go into it)
-
I think we let Robbie down today and I'm sorry Robbie, the creator of the Festive 50s - the 'all-inclusive ride', except for today

All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front (Teeth) Chainrings
-
... no, but there was something meaty poking out of the Friedlander's bin this morning
-
54 miles for me Got slightly distracted in Cockayne Hatley by the hunt. There were hounds all over the road and locals having a good old pre-Christmas chinwag. They're much more effective at slowing down the traffic than I am with my bike

Dom - yes please, I'd like a lift Happy to contribute to costs

Thinking about getting some of the 3M Scotchlite reflective tape I don't ride in the dark if I can help it. But if I get delayed by a mechanical, or my lights fail/fall off, or I've been daft enough to forget them ... it'll be nice to know that I'l…

What happened Andy? I was a bit sad not to see you joining in. Might be good to give some specific feedback, if you have any for the rest of us? I know I'd welcome it (- pls whisper though, cos I'm not especially thick-skinned!) That's the first tim…

Great stuff, Team. Transport sorted I've got butterflies just thinking about the sound of wheels on silky smooth boards
