Sorry to hear that Matt, but yes please, a pusher-offer would be very helpful!

CCA Club Hill Climb this Sunday! Thanks to everyone for their offers of riding and helping, and hopefully we’ll see a few more from the 9am club run too. Details as it currently stands… Hatch Lane in Baldock (off London Road, near the George IV pu…

Thanks everyone, looks like we've got some enthusiastic riders lined up! With just a week to go now we do need a couple of timekeepers. This will be a short event so could tie nicely in with a usual Sunday ride - for riders and helpers. Are any …

Great, so we've got a couple of riders so far...could do with a couple of timekeepers if anyone fancies it? Mitchy - definitely come and ride. Can someone who knows about such things confirm if second claim members are eligible for the club title?
-
Have a great ride, and make sure you all wrap up warm. We won't be out tomorrow, we'll be testing the climate up north where I hear it gets really cold!
-
Thanks for sorting this out Dan. I've put a size 2 - please could I have a women's fit jersey.
-
This sounds like a fantastic event - there are some good numbers there! Glad to see the women's race was well-subscribed. So much hard work by all involved, and it sounds like it all paid off and was a real success.
-
Great work all, and massive well-done to Emma for such consistent results!
-
What a great morning! Only 3-ish minutes of pain for hours of entertainment. Still awaiting the results, I think there was an issue so we didn't wait any longer at HQ. Hopefully they'll appear online at some point. Great riding all!

Start sheet is on the Hitchin Nomads Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/hitchinnomads/ Brendan - 10.35 Matt - 10.40 Jenny - 11.04 It's such a shame that this clashes with the Nomads road race as we've got 4 would-be hill climbers doing…

Yes please James, I'm pleased to able to make it this year!
-
I've shared this through a couple of women's cycling Facebook groups, with some good feedback and a few people saying they're hoping to make it.
-
Massive thanks to Dave H and the team for running such a slick event. That was the perfect way to end a great grass track season - sunshine, smiles and great company. Ashwellians are tough - I think almost every rider and marshal had either ridden …
-
I'm in - this looks amazing, thank you to everyone who's been working hard to put this together.
-
Is anyone likely to be at grass track tomorrow (3rd Sep)? Dave and I are hoping to be there if so.
-
Is there any update on the roadworks? It would be good to get a TT in before the cake if possible, any idea if we'll be able to?
-
Stef and Martin - thank you for the tips. That's so useful to have a few points to start to plan our trip. And Martin - yes please for the loan of the book!
-
Great idea! I hope to make it.
-
Thanks to the helpers - much appreciated.
-
Change of plan - we've decided to have a rest day instead. Have a good session if anyone's out.
-
Please can someone check the date of the interclub hill climb, I'm not sure where to find the master list. Last year was 7th October, so I took 30th September to be the correct date for this year. I'd like to make sure I've got the right date in my …

Sounds good! I'll join you for an hour or so and probably peel off around Gamlingay too (road racing on Sunday so need to save my legs).
-
Hi Scott, I'm interested in one of the jackets please. Are you at Biggleswade grass track next Saturday? If so could I pick one up then (not sure which size, so if I could try them on that would be fab!) Cheers Jenny
-
Thanks Stuart for sorting this.
-
Oh no! Looks like there's some legal issues and the Velogames Fantasy Tour de France is unlikely to go ahead. Let's keep an eye on the website in case it gets resolved. Gutted - I was gearing up for the Giro/Tour double!
-
Sounds good - I'll aim to meet you at Clavering Lakes. Dave's aiming to ride up to Ashwell for 9.30.
-
Thanks as always to the helpers for helping out and meaning that the TT could go ahead last night. Thomas was well sorted by the time I saw him, I think it was just his chain and great to see youngsters confidently sorting themselves out (and conf…

Phenomenal achievement Jackie, well done!

Lovely write up Claire. Dave and I also had a crack at this and it was a really great event with such enthusiastic support from everyone watching. Sadly lapped riders were pulled out so I didn't get to enjoy the race for quite as long as I would hav…

7 out for a glorious ride. Tim and Dave W did a massive turn on the front all the way to Watton, including through the gravel and floods around Redhill, then we headed out towards Codicote where the decision was made for an impromptu stop at Emily's…
