tomh - jolly good. As Stef suggests, could you do the Doodle thing....?
-
That jolly nice helpful chap in Haslingfield was Rupert I think... Thanks for another great ride David. We found out when we got home that Ben had been riding his 32mm Schwalbe Marathons on only 2.0 bar of pressure. He says he's going to pump th…

My son's words when he passed it to me to read last week were by coincidence just the same as yours. "....it's very sad Dad...." I'm currently half way through the book and feel much the same. Some of the pro teams of the period cheated everyone and…

9.30pm Friday evening. Sorry, but I'm going down with cold and sore throat...could someone else take the ride please? Thanks... John
-
It will be a fairly easy one Peter and could help actually aid your recovery. Despite of the weather today, the forecast is actually quite good.
-
Oh well done Susan....I hope your ride is once again well supported... It sounds like you managed to find the shortcut back to Ashwell via Melbourne and Meldreth okay on Saturday...
-
Many thanks Richard... I felt this was a good and worthwhile contribution to 'the club'...

Matt, Just had a thought, you can slip my place to have a look at a bike I have them fitted to you if you wish. We could perhaps even fit them, as I have a bike stand and hanging kit etc in the garage.
-
More fiddly to fit, but these ones will keep you, your other CCA buddies and your bike cleaner ... See: http://www.crudproducts.com/

Well done George - hope you get a good turn out....
-
As it happened you should have just turned up Peter..... One of our riders yesterday would have been much happier with the distance and pace that you were suggesting. Anyway, hope you managed to get a ride in? See you next time...take care...

These ride appear to be increasing in popularity and we had 12 on in total this week, with Daniel and his dad deciding on a slightly shorter version of the ride. The planned 24 ended up being 28 miles. Thanks to you all for supporting the ride and s…

Yep, a good call Matt and I hope you get a good turn out....

Good call Tim, I've got something else on this Satuday otherwise I would be on for this. Please put my name down for next time? Thanks...!
-
Thanks for the suggestion of a shorter ride, it's a good route and I'll be on.....
-
Okay then Stef, just to get the ball rolling (or perhaps I should say the wheels) I've put my name down for a couple of these. It would be good if we managed to get enough volunteers to have a couple of leaders per ride, so that each of these rides c…

Thanks Stef and matss. I feel that if we are not too ambitious and do not over commit ourselves with ride leadership every week, we will get enough volunteers via doodle to lead the rides but, as importantly, also get enough riders to take part in a…

x 5 on, then x 1 dropped off in Haslingfield. Waterproofs on/waterproofs off for John & John, but Gary and Malcolm didn't bother with waterproofs at all, so they didn't have to suffer the same inconveniences.
Gained x 1 in Little Gr… -
I think you meant me - John, but it was no problem at all Sean.
I'm sure that if you stick with it your'll build up very soon. It made quite a nice change actually, as it's usually other riders waiting for me. -

A good initiative Jane, I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did last year. Unfortunately, a family commitment means that I will not be on. 11 already eh, have a good one...
-
Andrew,
Thank you for your concerns, but please don't get this out of context, it was really no problem at all - not for me anyway. I was only joking in my blog. In fact, the group kindly and politely waited for me and I happily suggest… -
I know what you mean Peter as I was the chap that waved you all goodbye in Fowlmere. Then just up the road in the village I bumped into another couple of Cambridge cycling friends who were heading for shelter at the Teacake Tea Shop in Shepreth .. ve…

Well done Amanda - just what's needed. I hope you get a good number of customer and even if you don't a first, do keep it up 'cos your numbers will grow....!
-
Well done Tim you did a great job, thanks from us all and enjoy your well earned retirement...!
-
What a nice article to read, well done Fiona...!
-
Suggest ask Halfords for a small (kids) bike box, that's what I did a few weeks ago.
-
Not bad then for someone who had shot legs and bad back hey Tom.....? I'm not sure that you could run this same story next week....
-
Thanks David for the excellent route ride and weather. About 9 on - all incident free, apart from Geoff narrowly missing a hare....!
