Always the winter bike!!
-
I'll be there, I vote hills!!
-
I've whispered you Dave.
-
I'm meant to be TT'ing buy the weather looks awful in the afternoon with heavy gusts. I'm leaning more towards this, it's been a while!
-
Strong times, especially in that wind! I have no idea how that is all worked out, but it looks good....
-
I do!
-
I like the 510 at 80grams, but like the idea of the mapping for a bit of exploring on the 810, it's on 98grams so not much more.
-
Cheers both. The price is also a big factor and at only £599 (likely to be able to get 10% off aswell) it's a lot cheaper than P2M which would be my first choice. Just need a Garmin 510 or 810 to sort out the data!
-
Sorry, I can't make it, this working is getting in the way of my cycling far too much!
-
I am hoping to be off work and do this!
-
Only just seen this. I think I am going straight from work but if it changes I can let you know, it will just be a bit last minute that's all.
-
Outstanding result, Will you're flying and very well done Dan, very impressive to finish that sort of distance off!
-
Neil is going and I'm hoping to be there, work dependant.
-
I'm out, working by the look of things. It's about time I suppose!
-
Outstanding, just brilliant. That is one hell of a strong ride.
Well done Theo, I'm dreading turning up for chaingangs now!!! -
Just seen the results on the ERRL site:
Will Smith - 10th
Luke Danckert - 14th
Neil Murphy - 16th
Dan Pedder - 21st
Bryn Davies - 40th -
Cheers for the support on the way round, like Will says it makes a huge difference. I felt good for my first road race of the year, hamstring still playing up but managed have a bit of a sprint at the end (in between cramps). Hopefully only a couple …

The date change means that I'm waiting on CC London to get back about a RR place. If I don't get a place I will sign up.
-
Well done, sounded brutal!
-
Racing Wed afternoon, but might spin out if I can.
-
Seen!!! I'd be up for it,but not this Saturday, I've got Fl

I've had the Jet Black for a week now and due to a hamstring injury only used them a few times. Overall after 3 uses I've been impressed, very quiet, pre-assembled stable, good resistance for warm up and spinning sessions. I would definitely recommen…

I'm a maybe. Need to check with work first.
I think the rear mech on my winter bike will make me louder than the F1 cars this year... -
Cheers Geoff, appreciate your help.

Hmmmmm, maybe the Minoura were the better option, certainly from a weight point of view, almost 3 times the weight is significant. Am I wrong in thinking the extra weight would make them more stable or am I clutching at straws?!
I suppos… -
Just seen the Minoura post, I was too impatient, went for the Jet Black after finding a couple of positive reviews. No curved edges for me so I'll update you from my hospital bed on my first crash this week!!
I bought them from Ribble w… -
Thanks all for the options, and detail. Kreitler are out of my league, but the Jet Black look like a good option and the cheapest by £20 at £116 on Ribble. Can't find much on reviews for them Tim, how do they compare in noise level with Tacx?
-
Cheers for the advice both. That's 1-1, next ones the winner?!
Theo - Looked at the Kreitler rollers, very nice but just a little more than I'd like to pay!!! I'd expect a bike for that much! -
Well done mate. Maybe a few races out of area could be a good trip for a few of us later in the year? Was it fully subscribed?
-
Someone needs to buy Tom's previous TT bike, absolute bargain for a beautiful machine!!!
